May is National Foster Care Month, we all play a role in caring for vulnerable children. The goal of Foster Care is to provide safe, stable, and loving homes to vulnerable children. In Central Florida we have close to 1,200 children in care, there has been a 20% rise in children coming into care.
70 people finished foster care/adoption classes this past Saturday at Mosaic Church! These families will be opening their home to care for vulnerable children. We are so proud of these group of people. We can’t wait to see how lives will be changed and families transformed!
Love made Visible, at Mosaic Church, has 9 families becoming Foster Families since Love Made Visible Sunday in January. Other families will become Adoptive families, some will work on prevention, support, mentoring, financial support. What role can you play? How can you serve a foster family this month?
